Close-ups: front back body headstock Braz Board This came in as an empty shell - completely parts robbed and stripped of all finish. Lashing put it back to useable status with a few modern additions and modifications. These old Melody Makers may have been the budget guitar of their day but the entire body is one piece of fine old growth mahogany as is the neck. The Brazilian board is gorgeous chocolate brown. A real tone machine. No that's not a Floyd Rose. Its a Gotoh stop tailpiece with fine tuners. A Wolfetone Marshallhead in the Bridge brings out the natural growl of this guitar. |
