Modern PVC guards are .090" - 095" thick. Vintage strat Guards were 100 gauge or .100" with an accuracy of .098 - .104". This is an easy way to tell vintage from new as none of the off the shelf sheet plastics will add up to vintage standards. Unless of course you have one of our guards which is indistinguishable. We manufactured the sheet from scratch so ours too would be vintage thickness, measuring .100" - .104". The color is right as is the thickness - two points that REQUIRE manufacturing from scratch.
